Chinese Premier Li Qiang on October 15, 2025 urged efforts to accelerate the reform and innovation in standardization work, aiming to promote the quality upgrading in the real economy and strengthen the endogenous momentum for high-quality development. Li made the remarks while presiding over the 16th State Council study session.

習近平總書記強調，標準決定質量，有什么樣的標準就有什么樣的質量，只有高標準才有高質量。

作為衡量產(chǎn)品質量的尺度，標準是經(jīng)濟生活和社會發(fā)展的技術支撐。從中國古代的“車同軌、書同文”，到現(xiàn)代工業(yè)規(guī)模化生產(chǎn)，標準滲透在人們衣食住行的方方面面。當前，標準在賦能產(chǎn)品與服務品質升級，滿足多元消費需求方面的規(guī)范引領作用充分顯現(xiàn)。

標準是重要基礎性制度，對構建現(xiàn)代化產(chǎn)業(yè)體系、建設全國統(tǒng)一大市場等具有重要作用。高標準能夠有力地推動技術創(chuàng)新、高水平對外開放、高質量發(fā)展。近年來，我國標準化工作取得很大進步，標準覆蓋范圍加快拓展、水平持續(xù)提升。

每年10月14日是世界標準日。2025年10月14日是第56個世界標準日，主題為“美好世界的共同愿景：增強伙伴關系，共促可持續(xù)發(fā)展”。

構建全國統(tǒng)一大市場，深化要素市場化改革，建設高標準市場體系。完善產(chǎn)權保護、市場準入、公平競爭、社會信用等市場經(jīng)濟基礎制度，優(yōu)化營商環(huán)境。

We will build a unified national market, advance reforms for the market-based allocation of production factors, and put in place a high-standard market system. We will refine the systems underpinning the market economy, such as those for property rights protection, market access, fair competition, and social credit, in order to improve the business environment.
